Cuts (out takes, rushes) for stories in Colour Pictorial - CP 294. The original stories are also on Pathe Master tape *PM0109*.

PORCHESTER CASTLE - various shots of visitors exploring Porchester castle and of a cricket match - similar material to cut story. Grading rather yellow, may be retransferred.

PROBLEM DOGS - similar material to cut story of dog attacking postman and having obedience training. Postman makes friends with an Alsatian. Shots of a woman leading a Collie dog out of a kennel and putting ointment (?) on its paws not used in cut story. Spaniel gets to ride on a motorbike!

TV TRAFFIC CONTROL - shots of Durham Castle and the town centre. Good street scenes - various streets and houses are seen, lots of traffic. Policeman in his control tower - cameras also seen.

CURES FOR HICCUPS - similar material to cut story. Potato being grated onto showgirl's tummy and weird concoction being made as an attempted cure for the hiccups. One cure I don't think is seen in cut story is having to hold two glasses out on either side of the body whilst drinking a glass of water.

Verbal warfare at its best. Here are some of history's greatest retorts and snarling insults. These people certainly didn't mince their words!
