M/S of King Ferdinand and King George V walking along a line of soldiers in busbies. L/S of a procession of Royal carriages passing down a crowd lined street, flags and bunting hang overhead. High angled shot of the procession coming down the street, the carriages and accompanied by soldiers on horseback. L/S of the procession coming down the Mall under Admiralty Arch. 10 telling images selected from British Pathé's extensive WWI footage. 'The war to end all wars' was a war without parallel: over 70 million military personnel were involved and over 17 million people died.
