Various shots, ruins of Roman buildings in Obuda, the ancient part of Budapest , are preserved by new buildings being built on and around them. LS A large site, possibly of an amphitheatre. Pan from housing estate to ruined stone foundations. MS An archaeological site, possibly religious, with remains of columns, pan up to block of flats. Pan down a modern block to its ground floor. CU Metal door opens to reveal a museum where the preserved remains of a Roman building remain in the foundations of the modern block. The layout of the previous settlement is still visible and large pots are displayed. Various shots, archaeological finds on display including amphora pots, a stone relief carving (possibly a mermaid), and a wall painting of an archer. Various shots of archaeologists or builders, doing preservation work to the walls of ancient foundations still lying under a modern building.
