    Old Aviation.

    Various locations of events.

    Various shots of aeroplanes taking off as spectators watch; probably France. Men pushing early aeroplane (single-engine monoplane) across field. CU same. Crowd watching; one little girl comes running forward. Shot from just behind the aeroplane as pilot climbs in; w/ help from some other men. Several men push aeroplane from behind to start it moving; plane taxis short distance and takes off.

    Next; (shot from behind) another similar plane ready to leave; a man to rt. holds up a white flag to signal as this plane takes off. Next; large crowd of people and parked cars; inside a large fenced area; watching yet another plane taking off. Shot of aeroplane flying high in sky. Group of men & women stand in park for some ceremony; in city; young man in centre holds paper.

    Next; aviation rally; several aeroplanes (both mono and biplanes) in field. Shots of some of the planes taking off.

    Awards ceremony; British airmen receiving some sort of honours at unidentified event at Stag Lane Aerodrome. (also in ON 382 A). 2 ladies in FG stand chatting; behind them a Union Jack hanging on front of platform; 2 young men and 2 older civilian men on platform; big silver trophy cups sit on a table before them. Cuts to shot panning on empty field; then back to ceremony; the RAF men stepping up to platform.
