    01:22:32 British Nylon Spinners Ltd. in co-operation with Trade Fairs and Promotions Ltd presentation. L/S of the Royal Albert Hall. Man walks past an advertising board featuring the National Nylon Trade Fair. C/U of flowers which are then moved aside to reveal two women modelling dresses and hats surrounded by large fabric butterflies. The women strike extravagant poses. One of the dresses is a copy of a 1908 style. L/S and M/S of a model looking at an exhibition stand of nylon goods. C/U of her hand as she strokes a yellow nylon petticoat. L/S and C/U of two women looking at nylon dresses. A couple look at rolls of fabric. Parachutes and stockings are mentioned by the narrator to emphasise the new uses to which nylon is being put. C/Us of lacy nylon. Display of nylon stockings and a bizarre machine which demonstrates how stretchy the stockings are. A stocking is pulled at one end whilst two metal prong stretch the top of the stocking. "Make the word nylon plural and even the dumbest of blondes will know what you mean" suggests the narrator. Great C/U of a woman's leg as she pulls a stocking over her knee then smoothes it over her calf. C/U of the woman smiling.

Narrator speaks of Dr Fuchs (?) and his Trans-Antarctic Expedition who wore similar jackets. C/U of the dog looking cute. C/U of the man putting large goggles on Woman sits on a sofa and strokes some nylon carpet samples. C/U of her hand as she strokes the carpet, then extreme C/U of a shoe and ankle as the women walks across the carpet. Woman models a nylon fur jacket. Woman in nylon nightwear takes off her dressing gown and slippers and climbs into bed. Nylon sheets are featured. C/U of the woman (in full make-up) snuggling down to a good night's sleep. Top shot of an audience looking at a fashion parade on a small stage. Various nylon fashions are shown - capes with sequins, fringed matador pants, lacy evening gowns etc.

C/Us of various audience members are intercut with the fashion shots including two glamorous women (one smoking) and a man with large beard and glasses. Fashion shots include L/Ss of the models and C/Us of details of outfits. "Baby doll" nighty, "coolie style pyjamas" and a bright yellow "stretch fit Meridian swimsuit" are modelled as well as many evening gowns and suits. An outfit named "Cruise Casuals" is featured, the narrator observes that it is: "designed for elegant loafing on a cruise." C/U over a woman's shoulder of her looking at the programme for the show. C/U of a very tight fitting swimsuit - gorgeous, "with enough stretch to ensure a perfect fit." End title reads: "No End to Nylon."

24 January 2015 marks 50 years since the death of British Prime Minister and international statesman, Sir Winston Churchill. British Pathé’s cameras followed Churchill throughout his career.
