  • The current dating of this clip as 1915 is incorrect, it should read 1920.

    The current figure of 1915 refers to the year of Edith Cavell's execution by the Germans on 12 October of that year. The unveiling of the statue seen here actually occurred on 16 March 1920, as the attached newspaper article of the era will confirm....
