  • This clip's current date range of 1940-49 can be easily reduced - the Nuremberg Trials ran from 20th November 1945 to 1st October 1946.

  • 19 of the 21 defendants in the Nuremberg trials are visible during the course of this single clip. They are;

    At 00:01, left to right, Rudolf Hess (head in his hand), in the dark glasses is Joachim von Ribbentrop, then Wilhelm Keitel.

    Then at 01:52, in the front row, L-R of picture, Alfred Rosenberg, Hans Frank, Wilhelm Frick, Julius Streicher, Walter Funk and Hjalmar Schacht.

    Still at 01:52, in the back row this time, L-R, are Arthur Seyss-Inquart, Albert Speer, Konstantin von Neurath, and Hans Fritzsche.

    At 02:08, on the front row is Hermann Goring. The five men visible behind him are Karl Donitz, Erich Raeder, Baldur von Schirach, Fritz Sauckel and Alfred Jodl.

    "Wilhelm Keitel standing up" already referred to in the shots list occurs at 04:01.
