French title reads: "Nuit 1900 chez Maxim's ou l'on vit 'Valentin le Desosse' et 'la Goulue' descenre de leur victoria grand style."

    Paris, France.

Night shot, ext. Maxim's night club. A horse drawn cab draws up. People in 1900s fancy dress / costume walk in. (There are film lights in the background). A vintage car pulls up and people get out.

Inside Maxim's people are dancing to a small band playing 'Daisy Daisy'. Everyone is in period costume and people are dancing, eating, drinking champagne. Good cu of champagne bottle being placed in ice bucket. Shots of dancing. Woman dances the can can, she has a cat's face embroidered on her knickers. She is joined in her dance by a black African man in a ring master's outfit. A woman performs a song and is joined by the audience. More dance performance. Another bottle of champagne. More dancing.

Good shots of a mock up of turn of the century revelry.
