    Various locations of events.

    In Gibraltar we see various shots of Lord Gort, King George II of Greece and Sir Stafford Cripps taking a walk on the Rock of Gibraltar during talks. This is prior to Sir Stafford's departure for India.

    In the Middle East, M/S of the RAF and Yugoslav flags flying side by side. Commentator says Serbs, Croats and Slovenes are working together here in complete harmony. C/U of Yugoslav squadron crest. Several shots of Balkan pilots coming out of a hut, getting into their seaplanes and taking off. Aircraft flies over the Dalmatian coast on a naval patrol and drops bombs. Seaplane lands on water.

    Also in the Middle East, we see men of the Fleet Air Arm crew setting off in a Walrus Flying Boat to rescue a man spotted at sea in a rubber dinghy. They find the airman, who had made a forced landing, and pick him up.

    At an unidentified location we see Prime Minister Winston Churchill inspecting troops of the Southern Command. His daughter, Mary Churchill, in ATS uniform, is also there. Various shots of Churchill watching Commandoes during training and then some engineers searching for and digging mines out of the ground. Churchill addresses the men from back of a truck and they give three cheers, raising their tin hats in the air. Churchill waves before getting into his car.

24 January 2015 marks 50 years since the death of British Prime Minister and international statesman, Sir Winston Churchill. British Pathé’s cameras followed Churchill throughout his career.
