A newsreel story about two schoolboys Alfred and Thomas Nowack who discover 34,000 dollars (1951) in the attic of a derelict New York mansion rumoured to contain a hidden fortune left by the deceased owner. The boys are given 1,000 dollars each (apparently) and the rest is placed elsewhere. Interesting musical score. Taken from "News In Flashes - New York" (original website title)

"Alfred and Thomas Nowack" - actually, the boys' names are Alfred Graves and Thomas Novak. (Two changes needed in text, and once in tags).

Here's an original newspaper report of the story.........
