C/U tyre, workman's hand comes into picture: the treads of the tyre are removable once tyre has been deflated. C/U mechanic's hand holding handful of tungsten studs. He pushes the studs into a groove between middle treat and outer tread. C/U mechanic. C/U tyre being revolved to show the studs in position on the tyre - the studs help stop cars skidding on icy roads. The tyre has been developed by an Italian firm Pirelli.

    The unveiling of Raleigh's statue in Whitehall took place on 28 October 1959.

    It was moved and re-erected in Greenwich's Old Royal Naval College, being unveiled for the second time on 20 December 2001.
