  • I was so pleased to find this footage on your website, it shows my Great Grandad George Birchall Snr, also my Grandad George Birchall (who is still with us at 89yrs old) and my Dad Michael Birchall (now 67yrs).
    It has been fantastic to show my sons their three Grandads all in one amazing clip
    My Grandad was so pleased to watch the footage as he speaks all the time of his love and memories of all the walks he did with his dad

24 January 2015 marks 50 years since the death of British Prime Minister and international statesman, Sir Winston Churchill. British Pathé’s cameras followed Churchill throughout his career.
