Gracie Fields launches paddle steamer named after her. It will be ferry from Hampshire coast to Isle of Wight. Grace waves at cheering crowds at she goes up gangplank. Men remove large logs propping up new boat on slipway. Gracie makes a speech, she jokes "Gracie Fields - goes to sea!". She pulls a lever and bottle of champagne is smashed against the boat. We see boat slide down slip way into Solent. Crowd give three cheers for Gracie.
