He married her when he was 90 and she was 17. M/S of the couple with their children, Eric, aged 5 and Doris, aged 2. M/S as Mr Skeets walks his son, Eric, to school, they walk past a horse. M/S as he kisses the little boy before he goes into school.
Intertitle - 'Coventry' - (West Midlands) - M/S of a new train which runs on pneumatic tyres, C/U of the tyres. Various shots of the train, various shots of people getting on and sitting down. M/S of the driver in raised cabin above the coach. M/S as it sets off. M/S interior, it looks like the inside of a bus. Various shots of the tracks and surrounding scenery. M/S of people inside. M/S as it approaches Coventry station, M/S as everyone gets off.
Intertitle - 'Lourdes' (France) - M/S of ex-servicemen from all over the world walking along carrying their flags. L/S as they walk towards the shrine to pray for peace. M/S of the flags. Good shot of Union Jack flying next to swastika. M/S of cathedral. Various shots of ex-servicemen, some are disabled, all display their medals.
Intertitle - 'Blackpool' (Lancashire) - L/S of Blackpool illuminations at night, M/S of a tram with lights on. Various shots of a wedding cake, people, birds, a girl swinging, a coach and horses and big Casino Cafe all lit up.
Intertitle - 'Los Angeles' (America, USA) - M/S of a show at the National Air Races, aeroplanes swoop about, M/S of the spectators. M/S of film star Douglas Fairbanks looking at the camera, his wife Sylvia Ashley talks to another lady behind. Various shots as one aeroplane flies upside down. Good M/S of film star Harold Lloyd grinning up at the show.
One aeroplane skims the ground then takes off again. L/S of the crowds. M/S as another swoops low and catches a cloth onto its wing. M/S of impressive stunt where a man rides a motorcycle behind a taxiing aeroplane, he draws level and grabs hold of the wing as it takes off. L/S as the spectators look to the skies for the winners of the race. L/S of the aeroplanes speeding along. M/S as one comes into land but flips right over, the aeroplane comes to pieces and looks completely destroyed. People rush in to help but the pilot was not badly injured.
Intertitle - 'Croydon' (Greater London) - M/S of an aeroplane coming into land. M/S of the first 'plane to inaugurate the new service from London to Dublin coming in to land at the aerodrome. C/U of "Eire" on the side of the aeroplane. Alderman Alfred Burn, Dublin's Lord Mayor, steps off and greets officials. Various shots of him with a group of people in front of the aeroplane.
Intertitle - 'Liverpool' (Merseyside) - M/S of an aeroplane on the ground. American airmen Dick Merrill and Harry Richman shake hands with people before getting in their 'plane for the return journey. M/S as it takes off and flies.
Intertitle - 'Sunderland' (Tyne and Wear) - M/S's of the mayor standing at a table making a speech. M/S of people watching him. London and North East Railway is showing off new stock. M/S of a big engine, people get on it to have a look, a little boy touches the wheels. M/S of people being lifted in big square container by a new crane. M/S of engine "Silver King" which broke the British speed record. Various shots as children climb all over it. M/S of them looking at the mechanisms which make it run smoothly.
