    News in a Nutshell.

    Intertitle - 'Irpinia.' (Italian army on manoeuvres). M/S of big conveyer belt on tracks put up against the side of a hill. M/S of an armoured car which drives up the conveyor belt. M/S of a bridge being manoeuvred into place by the army, the camera pans to the river below. M/S as a wagon is driven across it.

    Intertitle - 'Scalby Nabs.' M/S of motorcycle riders trying to get up a very steep hill. People sit on the ground and watch. Various shots as they make their way up the hill with varying degrees of success, some fall off the back or get stuck.

    Intertitle - 'Sandridge, near Hatfield' (Hertfordshire). M/S of many haystacks on fire at night. Various shots of the burning hay.

    Note: the soundtrack to this edition is missing. The item 'Cobb Breaks World Records at Bonneville Flats Utah' is currently missing from this edition.
