    Brighton, East Sussex. Various shots as people dressed as Francis Drake and his contemporaries bowl on Preston Park Green at Brighton. Various shots as people watch. A lady dressed as Mary Queen of Scots umpires, and another as Queen Elizabeth I presents prizes, the men bow.

    London. M/S as the aeroplane "Lady Southern Cross" is wheeled out of the hangar, it belongs to Australian airman Charles Kingsford-Smith who is getting ready to fly home. C/U of him, he says goodbye and thank you for everyone's good wishes. He wants to get home to his family.

    Hackney, London. L/S of Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester, inspecting the 10th London Regiment as he opens their new Hackney headquarters. M/S of people waving. M/S as he walks along. M/S of children watching. M/S of the Duke at Catterick in Yorkshire. He inspects the 2nd Battalion of the Gloucestershire's of which he is Colonel in Chief. M/S as it pans across him to the men. M/S as he walks over to watch them practise, M/S of the Duke and officer. L/S as he takes salute at the march past.
