    News in Flashes - model aeroplane National Championships in Prague, Czechoslovakia.

    C/U competitor starting engine of his model plane. C/U competitor filling engines of his model plane with fuel. C/U competitor with plane on starting line, it starts to taxi. Pan with plane as it taxis round the course for take off. C/U competitor in centre of course guiding his plane on line (like a kite).

    C/U competitor holding model jet plane in front of him, while assistant pumps at stirrup pump and flames belch from tail. C/U jet plane with flames still coming from tail, flames burn out and jet starts, the competitor jumps out of the way and the plane shoots off round the course. M/S biplane taxiing slowly around course, it takes off and continues to circle the course in air.
