    C/U of Prime Minister Winston Churchill, followed by shots of Deputy Prime Minister Clement Attlee, Secretary of State for the Dominions; former Lord Privy Seal is succeeded by Sir Stafford Cripps, also leader of the House of Commons; Sir John Anderson who is still Lord President of the Council; Anthony Eden remains as Secretary for Foreign Affairs; Oliver Lyttleton continues as Minister of State exercising general supervision over production; Ernest Bevin, who remains as Minister of Labour.

    Lord Beaverbrook is leaving the Cabinet to go to America; Sir Kingsley Wood, Chancellor of the Exchequer (with Arthur Greenwood - unseen) retains Cabinet, but not War Cabinet rank.
