    New stern for HMS Renown. Originally part of News in a Nutshell - news in brief from around the World.

    Glasgow, Scotland.

    Various shots of new nose for ship, HMS Renown, being towed through streets by traction engine. We see the nose being attached to a crane and lifted onto a boat at Clydebank. The nose will then be shipped down to Portsmouth. HMS Renown damaged her bows in collision with HMS Hood.
