    Isle of Man.

    Full titles read: "NERVE & SKILL! - J CHASSAGNE - in a Sunbeam - wins Car Tourist Trophy. He did 53 miles per hour for 5 1/2 hrs. over wet roads."

    Racing motor cars are lined up at the starting grid. Car no 4 starts first. Several shots of cars slipping and sliding around wet country lanes. Small crowds gather at the roadside with umbrellas. Good C/U of J Chassagne sitting in his car after his victory holding onto handbreak. He is surrounded by crowds of people.

    The white No.6 car shown at the start is W.D. Hawkes 3-litre Bentley, one of three entered by the factory for this event (W.O. Bentley himself was one of the drivers).
