Item title reads: " Mustapha Kemal. Makes state entry into Turkish capital from Angora."

    Constantinople, Turkey

President Mustapha and his entourage walk towards camera. The party stand on the boat deck facing camera, having a smoke. They sit at a table on the boat deck talking.
Intertitle reads: "Is hailed by population as he arrives from Angora for a state visit, embarking at Ismid to cross the sea of Marmora" "Throngs line the shores of the Bosporus to greet the President's launch."
M/S of the launch. The President in a fez hat, sits with a lady in a striped Muslim headscarf. The President inspects guards, while people watch from the top of railway carriages. The group walk, smiling towards camera. Soldier with white plumed helmets march past in front of camera followed by sailors, followed by procession of monks in ceremonial costume. The costumes look like grassy haystacks carrying long poles.

Note: see repeat sequences in *PM0692* 692.20. Very weird, quirky costumes.
