    M/S of a man playing a circular instrument with nails stuck into one side of it; he plays it with a bow, like a violin. The sound is quite pleasant.

    Intertitle introduces 'The Regal' - a vest-pocket organ popular with ladies of the Sixteenth Century. M/S of a man playing an organ keyboard, attached to two bellows, worked by another man. The next instrument is a kind of glass harmonica, invented by Benjamin Franklin by fixing stemless wine glass together. The glasses are rotated by a foot pedal and rubbing the fingers on the rims of the glasses makes a sound.
