Various shots during her visit to the Marshall Space Flight Centre in Huntsville, Mrs Johnson looks over some of the machines, rockets and space capsule used in space research, she is here to be briefed on progress of Saturn Five. Half way through the tour, she is asked by rocket scientist Wernher von Braun to wear the uniform steel helmet for her tour which she looks a little reluctant to put on. For lunch she joins fifty of her Alabama relatives who she has invited for the visit, for lunch. She goes and watches test firings of booster rocket from behind a protective wall accompanied by NASA administrator, James Webb. MS Mrs Johnson waves from the steps of her plane before leaving. She was accompanied by her daughter Linda Bird Johnson on the tour.
