  • This is the "Weybridge Junior Mountain Handicap" race on the "Mountain" circuit at Brooklands on 11th March 1933.

    The car on fire at the "Fork" hairpin, adjacent to the Vickers (formerly Itala) Works, is an MG.
    The fire was made worse by the driver (Wright) forgetting to switch off the electric fuel pump!
