Titles read: "AUSTRIA - MOTOR RACERS USE ICE TRACK".

    Salzburg, Austria.

Various shots of motor cars racing round the frozen Zell Am See track, pulling skiers along behind them - known as ski-joring. Most of the cars seem to be Volkswagen Beetles. Commentator explains this is part of the Professor Porche Memorial Meeting.

C/U of pretty girl in headscarf and thick jumper in the crowd. Various shots of cars (without skiers) zooming around the icy track. Some are open racing cars. Quick shots of the finishing line, official waving chequered flag as winning car crosses line, timekeeper pressing stopwatch, man and woman in crowd.

One-armed Austrian winner Otto Mathe is seen in his car, being congratulated after the race by a woman holding a laurel wreath.

The text gives the location of this clip as "Salzburg", however it's actually Zell am See, about an hour's drive away.

"Professor Porche" in text and tags should read Professor Porsche.

"Various shots of cars (without skiers)" - the cars include a Porsche 550 Spyder and a Prsche 356.
