  • The winner (at the end of the film) is Rudolf Caracciola in a Mercedes, so it is probably the Éireann Cup race at the Irish International Grand Prix meeting at Phoenix Park on the 18th July 1930. See Film ID: 715.40

  • The car is No.3 - so it is Caracciola's Mercedes at Phoenix Park. But the date for the Éireann Cup should be 19th July (the second day of the 1930 Irish International Grand Prix meeting). This was his last race win for Mercedes, before switching to Alfa Romeo. He did not return to Mercedes until 1934 - to drive the "Silver Arrow" W25.
