    Motor Canoe.

Location of events unknown - could be River Thames near Chertsey?

Three women in motor canoe on river late 1920s or early 1930s. Looks like a beautiful summer day. In their boat; the 'Gondacruza'; 3 attractive young women & 1 man cruise up the river; waving at camera or leaning back and relaxing as boat does the work. An awning over boat for shade. They pass cottages along the riverbank w/ boats at small docks; lots of trees.

CUs interior boat as women (man has gone) let down awning to cover entire boat; like tent. 2 Girls peek out and wave.

CUs of woman checking oil (?), pulling out cord to start motor. CU motor. Another excursion. The 3 women walk toward river; get into boat; lift box covering motor. They set out again. Steering wheel is on left side in back. CUs women leaning back in seat as boat moves; sun shining through leaves makes moving patterns. CU woman's hand turning wheel and adjusting gears (?).

Tracking shots from another boat as they pass by more houses; under bridges; etc. A flag flying from the back of the boat reads: 'James Taylor - Chertsey'. More CUs of girls. Then tracking shot from boat looking forward passing more cottages & gardens. Swans on the river. Finally shot passing by young people on bank feeding swan; they have some strange-looking balloon animal w/ a long neck (giraffe?) which maybe attracted the swan.

Birds; motorboat. Boats and ships; recreational.
