    Title: "MOST COVETED of all MOTOR RECORDS. J. G. P. Thomas, after trying for 2 years, breaks World's hour record, covering 109 miles 160 yards and attaining at times 130 miles per hour".

    J.G.P. Thomas is John Godfrey Parry Thomas.
    He achieved 109.9 miles in one hour (including changing all four tyres).
