Thought to be Selected Originals from late 1940s material.

Italy. Monks begin to rebuild the monastery in Cassino after it was destroyed in the war.

Various shots of the famous Benedictine monastery being blown up and destroyed by the allies during the war (actually it is a small scale model). Various shots as it is today, a heap of rubble. Various shots as the monks begin to rebuild it, they use pickaxes and wheel the stone around in barrows. Various shots of the broken bells on the ground. Various shots as the monks try to salvage manuscripts and other documents from what was once the library.

Possibly connected with 46/65 - MD.
