    Full title reads: "The Mixture. Grand National Counterfoils Well Shaken".

    Dublin, Eire (Southern Ireland, Republic of Ireland).

    Mixing counterfoils and draw for the Irish Grand National Sweepstake. Various shots of carnival float passing through crowd lined city streets. The float stops in front of impressive stage set of Manhattan skyline. On the float is gigantic model of eagle and lots of crates containing sweepstake tickets. Another float follows, carrying women in fancy dress, each holding placard with name of country on it. Alfred Bryne, the mayor of Dublin, shakes hands with each girl.

    Meanwhile, more girls unload crates from first float. Various shots of girls unloading crates into large tombola drums. Takes place in gigantic warehouse. These shots are interspersed with shots of glamorous girls dressed as movie stars of the day (Ginger Rogers, Greta Garbo etc.)

    Second version of story starts at 01:29:13. Title reads: "Irish Sweep Draw on the Grand National".

    Irish Hospitals Sweepstake draw at Dublin's Mansion House. Dignitaries and a large audience watch as nurses pick tickets from giant tombola. A large model of a griffin hangs above them. More shots of movie star girls seen in first version.

    Note: item finishes very abruptly. End of neg. and track missing - according to paperwork name of "dead cert horse" is 'Golden Miller'. AH 2001.
