  • MILITARY BAND 1914 - 1918.

    This clip shows the Massed Bands of the Foot Guards on Horse Guards Parade for a 'Trooping the Colour' ceremony. They are shown countermarching to face the Admiralty Buildings, performing the 'Quick Troop' part of the parade. The film is probably early 1920's, as the 1919 'Troop' was performed in Hyde Park due to Horse Guards Parade having temporary marquees and buildings on it for the duration of World War One.
