    M/S salesman in Failsworth picking a hat up off the rack and walking towards two prospective buyers trying on hats in front of mirror. C/U man on the left wearing Tyrollean with large feathers and a black and white striped hat band, he takes it off and the salesman hands him another hat which he puts on. This is the Capri, a light coloured hat with a vertical stripe. He turns towards his friend. C/U other man wearing the Braemar which is unusual in that it has no dent across the crown, he takes the hat off and puts on a black and white checked Robin Hood hat, he turns to face his friend.

C/U pan across the two modern style hats on stands. L/S man on left putting on a felt Robin Hood hat, C/U of it. The two men stand in front of mirror, man on the right takes his bowler off and puts it down. C/U as man picks up Robin Hood hat and puts it on his head, they both turn and thank the salesman before walking towards the camera.
