    No title.

Two men walk along in a wooded area. They place a large trap on the ground. They set the trap. The trap is then covered with leaves. A piece of wood is then used to show how the trap works. The jaws snap shut. C/U of the jaws. High angle shot of the men setting the trap again. The wood is again used to set off the trap. The trap is two centuries old but the "springs are still good..."

C/U of the trap being set off. Another man trap is demonstrated. This one looks particularly vicious and only needs the tap of a small stick to set it off. C/U of a large metal trunk being opened to reveal a complicated locking device on the lid.

Subtitle in paper records for this film is "Burglar alarm."

Was an item in Pathe Pictorial issue number 695.

10 telling images selected from British Pathé's extensive WWI footage. 'The war to end all wars' was a war without parallel: over 70 million military personnel were involved and over 17 million people died.

Verbal warfare at its best. Here are some of history's greatest retorts and snarling insults. These people certainly didn't mince their words!
