    Old Trafford, Manchester, Lancashire.

    SV Manchester United's Captain Billy Foulkes and Sheffield Wednesday Captain toss up. GV crowds. GV Sheffield kick off. LV Manchester player passes but it is headed by Tony Kay of Sheffield back down. GV Sheffield attacking, Sheffield shoot, Harry Gregg clears. LV Ball coming down, it is headed by Manchester player towards the Sheffield goal, where Brian Ryalls clears. CU Man Utd supporters. LV Manchester attacking, Webster crosses, it is headed goalwards and Ryalls collects but he slips. CU Boys in crowd. LV Manchester attacking, Webster of Manchester and Baker of Sheffield chasing the ball, Baker gets to it and clears. GV Sheffield attacking, play on the left wing as one of the Sheffield men tries to beat a defender, loses the ball for a corner. CU Two men in crowd. GV Corner is taken, and a Sheffield player heads it, Gregg runs out and he fails to get to the ball as another Sheffield player heads it towards the goal, Cope, clears to Gregg who is on the ground and who collects it. LV Manchester attacking. LV Sheffield's goalie Ryalls hesitating as the ball is shot at the goal, rebounding off the post, Ryalls dives over it. CU Man drinking tea nearly chokes. LV Manchester - Brennan takes the corner and the ball curls into the goal. Camera pans back onto the Man Utd players. Score 1-0. GV cheering crowds at half time.

    SV Second half, kick off is sent across to Sheffield Wednesday goal and a Manchester United player heads it onto the head of Sheffield defender, the football goes high and drop down at the feet of a Manchester player who passes to the right wing. CU Man and boy in the crowd. GV Another Manchester corner kick, Ryalls punches clear and the ball is collected by a Sheffield player and the attack swings down to the Manchester half. SV Boys in crowd. LV Gregg in the goalmouth. GV As a Sheffield player shoots the ball goalwards and it goes over the line. LV Sheffield corner, the ball falls short and Goodwin of Manchester heads it down. GV Manchester attacking, one of their players crosses it CU Manchester girl supporters cheering. GV Stan Pearson approaching the Sheffield goal with the ball, he shoots, the ball hits Ryalls and rebounds out, Seamus Brennan runs in to collect and shoots. Manchester 2 Sheffield 0. Players congratulate him. GV crowds. GV Ball coming down to Gregg. GV Manchester attacking, ball is crossed, a Manchester player shoots but it is blocked. CU Man in crowd. GV Ryalls running out to collect a ball and Dawson of Manchester trips over him. Ryalls clears. CU Manchester girl fans. GV Ball dropping just outside the Manchester goal, Gregg leaps up and collects, and clears. LV crowds. GV Manchester attacking again, Pearson running with the ball, he crosses it and Dawson scores. Manchester 3 Sheffield 0.
