No title. Underwater shots of fish being disturbed by smoke bubbling up through the water.

Man (Joe Noble?) appears "swimming" up through the frame smoking a pipe. This is a trick effect achieved through optical printing or multiple exposure. He stands and smokes.

"Meanwhile the Fishville Fire Brigade is perturbed." Animation begins. A fish in fireman's uniform comes out of the fire brigade depot and blows a whistle. Our man carries on smoking. The fish approaches him and says: "No smoking you'll set the seaweed on fire!" The fish jumps up and down irately.

Note: the man could very well be Joe Noble the cartoonist.

Was probably an item in Eve's Film Review 392 or Pathe Pictorial 392.
