    LS American Delegate Henry Cabot Lodge on dais speaking says. (nat. snd.) "Millions of Americans remember the time when the Germans made their last great offensive through the so called Bulge, in Belgium and Luxembourg. Throughout the whole front, American troops were at that time, constantly alerted to German attacks and many of us can well remember the relief with which they heard the news, that a few days later on the German Eastern Front the Russians were again attacking. We remembered that with appreciation. In those days. Mr Representative of the Soviet Union, your country was held in great respect, you had many friends, but you have lost a great deal of that friendship and respect in the years that have gone by".
