Item title reads: "Lindy Flies to Capital for Hop to Japan - America's ace and former Anne Morrow load plane at College Point, N.Y., before leaving for Washington where flight starts." Shots of aircraft being prepared for flight. Intertitle reads: "We - 1931 pose for the photographers". Shot of the happy couple posing for photographers. Anne and Charles climb aboard their plane and take off. Intertitle reads: "Lindy clears water in perfect take-off with heavy load of fuel." Camera follows the plane as it lifts off and flies across a stretch of water.
Second item title reads: "Lindy and Anne find plane fit for Pacific Hop - Famous flying couple test craft at College Point N.Y., with load of 375 gallons of gas and new pontoons. Seaplane is seen moving across stretch of water at speed then taking off. The plane then flies around a bit and lands on the water again. "Lindy" is seen getting down from the plane followed by Anne. Lindy wears a suit, Anne is in more traditional flying gear of leather jacket and jodhpurs.
Third item title reads: "Lindbergh and Betty Gow Shown at Curtis Trial. Here are famous flyer, butler and baby's nurse entering courthouse to face Norfolk shipbuilder." Exterior of courtroom. Lindbergh enters the courtroom. Butler and nurse are seen walking in grounds of courtroom then entering courthouse. Crowds wait outside.
Fourth item title reads: "Far East Fetes Lindy and Anne. Japanese go wild with enthusiasm as famous flying couple land at Kasumigaura on their tour of Orient". L/S of aircraft approaching camera. Crowd waves as the seaplane lands on the water. Lindy climbs down from the aircraft. Anne follows him. Welcoming party cheer. C/U of Lindy and Anne. They are driven through the streets then walk through the Oriental Gardens in Tokyo with Ambassador Forbes (sp?) and other officials. Date: 1931/1932.
