Compilation of American Pathe News items featuring Charles Lindbergh and his wife Anne Morrow. Various locations in the United States of America. Original American soundtrack. Item title reads: "Lindy Flies to Capital for Hop to Japan - America's ace and former Anne Morrow load plane at College Point, N.Y., before leaving for Washington where flight starts." Shots of aircraft being prepared for flight. Intertitle reads: "We - 1931 pose for the photographers". Shot of the happy couple posing for photographers. Anne and Charles climb aboard their plane and take off. Intertitle reads: "Lindy clears water in perfect take-off with heavy load of fuel." Camera follows the plane as it lifts off and flies across a stretch of water. Second item title reads: "Lindy and Anne find plane fit for Pacific Hop - Famous flying couple test craft at College Point N.Y., with load of 375 gallons of gas and new pontoons. Seaplane is seen moving across stretch of water at speed then taking off. The plane then flies around a bit and lands on the water again. "Lindy" is seen getting down from the plane followed by Anne. Lindy wears a suit, Anne is in more traditional flying gear of leather jacket and jodhpurs. Third item title reads: "Lindbergh and Betty Gow Shown at Curtis Trial.
