World War One. War Bonds Parade and rally for Liberty Loans in USA; large city. DS parade going down street; crowds on sides. Group of people marching; all wearing tall hats. Young women marching; each carrying flags and wearing costume to represent one of the Allies. CU tank with British flag on it. Soldiers pop out of all openings. Shot of tank moving forward; spraying out a jet of steam. Then a longer shot of same; with both Brit & US flags and several men standing on top; soldiers and sailors stand along side watching it go past. Masses of people; with signs held up; each with a different $ amount. and category; to show how the money from war bonds is being spent. Every adult in the parade had actually purchased war bonds. Patriotism. Home front. fund raising. (Another Liberty Loan parade is on 5129.)
