French title: "Le Supplice De La Danse. Brooklyn, N.Y. - Un concours de duree a ete organise entre plusieurs couples. Voici l'etat concurrents qui ont tenu deux mois."

Brooklyn, New York, United States of America (USA). American voiceover.

Couples dancing in a dance marathon after 1400 hours. Many of the dancers are virtually asleep on their feet. One man gets his hair cut while he dances. Out of focus shot of audience (joke - this is how they look to a tired dancer). Shots of dancers resting on small beds, one of them is woken up by an attendant after his 11 minuets per hour rest is over. People dancing while eating. A man dancing with a chair. More shots of exhausted people dancing.

N.B. Dance marathons were held during the depression years - people were desperate for the prize money and had nothing better to do with their time.
