    Ship launching.

    Location of events unknown / unclear.

    MS people walking up steps and towards camera. MS woman who is to christen ship carrying flowers; wearing cloche hat; talking to older man. She hands him flowers; they walk over to ship. Cut to CU woman standing alone; holding bottle of champagne tied to rope hanging from ship; people stand a few yards back. Film jumps around a bit - from off camera she swings bottle and it smashes on side.

    CU ship's hull as it moves away; sliding along rails; men watch from down below as the ship slides into water. MS pan over crowd, women wear cloche hats. Woman sees camera and points. Another crowd shot. MS pan across whole area; women wave from high platform; big crowd below. Looking at harbour with ship in distance. Zoom in on longshoremen working; ship in background being turned by two tugboats. Zoom in to ship and pan along it.
