  • This clip is a mish-mash of two separate events.

    Up until 01:24 what's happening currently remains unclear. However at 01:25, we see the launch of the concrete ship named "Prince Nicholas", (not Nichols or Nicholus as the shots list currently suggests).

    This launch took place on 16 January 1919. The location is the Lake Shipyard, Hamworthy, Dorset.

    Attached is a photo of the event, (which when clicked on exactly matches the scene at 02:07 in the clip).........

    Note that from the point in the shots list saying "shot of Tudor timbered building", we revert to the original, unidentified ship launch.
