Reel 2. Extreme C/U of a coloured beach ball which is then thrown away from the camera. Reveals a quintessential beach scene - group of young people throwing the ball to each other. C/U from low angle of a girl smiling and throwing the ball to a friend. She catches it and throws it to another girl who runs into the sea to retrieve it, two of the girls are in swimsuits. She falls over in the sea and the waves break over her. M/S of a couple skipping hand in hand through a grassy sand dune with a view of a cove behind them. She is wearing a groovy fringed bikini. L/S of the couple underneath the "wishing arch" - large natural stone archway. C/U of the couple - she has her hand on the arch, he looks at her lovingly. "You put your hand on the rock and wish that this holiday could last forever." One of the girls stands in the sea and splashes a group of small children. L/S of a beach scene. One of the men tells a joke about a pigeon. They take their pints and hand the barman some money. Camera pans up to show the bar of the pub. "A Belfast pub is a place of laughter and legendary reminiscences." says the narrator. C/U of man sitting at the bar talking to a barman who is drying a glass. C/U of an ornate sign which comprises letters of the alphabet presumably relating to each of the snugs. A small bell rings and something moves inside the sign to indicate more beer is required. C/U of the men seen earlier - the joke continues.

Our red Triumph Herald slows down as a shepherd and his flock block his way. The shepherd leans through the car window to give the driver directions. He smiles and waves.
