    Lady Haig attends memorial, Liverpool.

    Boy Scouts pull down flags from around the monument. Lady H. and others climb steps up to plain brick building; then speak from the landing to crowd gathered in street. At the next location; Lady H. w/ help from 2 men; lays a wreath on a larger monument (to World War One soldiers?) Douglas Haig; British Army field marshal; was commander-in-chief of expeditionary forces on Western Front during World War One. He died in 1928; and this memorial was probably unveiled 1929-30. Military.
