    Rothesay, Strathclyde.

L/S of King George V on the deck of a submarine in the Clyde, various Naval officers and dignitaries surround him. The sea is very choppy and in the distance we see the large hills. The submarine is an M.2 - at that time one of the biggest submarines in the World. M/S of the king and Queen Mary being helped up from the submarine's hatchways by one of the naval officers. M/S of the Royal party getting into a motor boat waiting at the side of the submarine. As the motor boat moves away from the submarine, the submarine officers standing on the deck salute. This story was obviously filmed from another vessel close by - the sea is quite rough and there is a lot of movement to the picture.
