He sees the famous gold telephone known as the "hot line" which will be used only on extreme emergencies. LS. as Kennedy presents the Commander with a plaque for "A record unparalleled in the history of world air power". Various shots, including tracking, of President Kennedy being shown round 1100 sq. mile Indian Springs Air Force Base in Nevada. This is a highly secret development site at work on "Project Rover".
