Animation featuring Jerry the Troublesome Tyke - a cartoon dog. A cartoon curtain rises. A U.I.C. production. Jerry emerges from under a door and does a somersault in the garden. He takes a piece of paper from his pocket and reads from it. It says "When is your birthday? If you would know your future consult Zodiac the great seer.." He puts it back in his pocket. Speech bubble appears: "Seeing it's my birthday, I'll slip along and see what the seer sees of my future!" He laughs and goes into a kennel which is marked "Garage". He pulls a rocking horse out of the kennel. The rocking horse runs along with Jerry on its back. He arrives at the fortune teller's house. He ties his horse to a lamppost. He rings the doorbell. The door opens and he goes in. There is a crocodile or alligator in the room. Suddenly a strange statue appears and points into another room.
Sitting on a chair is a wizard. A black cat lies on the ground and a bird perches on the back of the chair. Various fortune telling type things are seen in the room. Jerry jumps up on a stool. The wizard's glasses move backwards and forwards. "Your birthday is today?" he asks? Jerry nods. The wizard looks into his crystal ball. "You are going on a long journey!" he announces. The crystal ball expands and we see Jerry inside riding on his rocking horse. "A great surprise is in store for you!!" says the clairvoyant. The crystal ball expands again and we see Jerry reading something - a will perhaps? "I see a motor trip and a long holiday!!!" the wise man announces. Inside the crystal ball we see Jerry in a large car smoking a cigar being chauffeur driven.
Jerry looks pleased and leaves, cocking a snook at the alligator on the way out. He goes outside and says "Now for the long journey!" He jumps on his horse and rides off - the lamppost bends as he didn't untie his mount first. They ride along. We see a policeman standing swinging his truncheon. Jerry tries to stop but slides into the policeman and knocks him over. Policeman blows his whistle and picks Jerry up by the scruff of the neck. "Oh! What a Surprise!" says Jerry. He is escorted into a police van.
"Is this my motor trip?" asks Jerry. Jerry sits in a police cell. He is attached to the wall by a chain. He looks fed up. He taps his feet and says: "I'll give him Zodiac when I finish my 'Long Holiday'!!" The End.
