A cartoon curtain rises before the story title. The hand of the artist is seen drawing Jerry. Duplicate Jerry's appear either side of the one he draws. When he has finished the dogs roll their eyes and wiggle their ears, tails and nose. The middle Jerry notices one of the others and looks angry. He pokes him with a finger and says: "Hi! Who do you think you are?" The dog replies that he is Jerry. The central character argues that he is Jerry then the third dog kicks him and states that he is Jerry. Middle Jerry picks the other two up and bangs their heads together. He then picks them both up by the ankles and swings them around at great speed. He throws them off screen and yells: "NOW who's Jerry?"

By a magical transformation he finds himself in a countryside location. A large egg falls out of a tree and smashes on his head, covering him with gunk. He pulls it off then looks up to see where it came from. A bird is sitting on a branch of the tree. The bird laughs, Jerry waves his fist. Jerry wishes he had a pair of wings. The artist draws some on for him. Jerry starts flapping his wings but can't get as high as the bird. The bird says: "Stick it Jerry!" Jerry falls down on the ground. He sees stars. The bird laughs. Jerry gets up, tears the wings off and throws them on the ground. He looks up at the bird and says: "I'll get you, if it kills me!!" The artist draws in a cannon and gives Jerry a lighted taper. He lights the cannon and a shot is fired but the bird catches it in his mouth. The bird makes the cannonball roll backwards and forwards on its beak then drops it on Jerry's head. Jerry is fuming - smoke is coming out of his head.

A worm suddenly pops out of the ground. C/U of the worm. Jerry says: "Bait! That should tempt him down!" He starts to pull the worm from the hole. It is very long indeed. "Some worm!" exclaims Jerry. He makes a lasso out of the worm and hooks the bird with it. Jerry attempts to throttle the bird. C/U of Jerry berating the bird. He punches the bird in the head repeatedly. Pretty violent stuff!
