    NORMAN PETTS CARTOONIST "JANE" .

    Location of events unknown.

    C/U of Petts drawing at his desk, he is interviewed about his cartoon strip 'Jane' that appears in the Daily Mirror and he says the inspiration came from his wife and her dachshund dog. It shows him drawing the comic strip. He talks about the fan mail he gets from servicemen asking for sketches of her. M/S soldier cutting out the comic strip. His wife models for him whilst he sketches her. He shows the finished sketches to the dachshund, C/U of the finished comic strip.

24 January 2015 marks 50 years since the death of British Prime Minister and international statesman, Sir Winston Churchill. British Pathé’s cameras followed Churchill throughout his career.
