Trade union leader and Labour politician James Henry Thomas.

CU Thomas and another man (unidentified) stand in doorway - they appear to be talking and joking. The two men both turn and walk toward doorway.

Note from American cataloguer: J. H. Thomas was a railway worker who started as an errand boy, rose through the ranks to become an engineer and then General Secretary of the National Union of Railwaymen.
