  • The first Irish Sweepstake draws of this kind took place in 1939, though given the location in this clip, (which is possibly, but not certainly, the Royal Dublin Society at Ballsbridge), this draw could be a little later.

    Nevertheless a date range of, say, 1939-41 would seem more likely than the currently given range.
